NSPIRE-V Resource Page
Columbia Housing is preparing for the transition to National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE-V) for all federally assisted programs. This page will provide landlords with resources and information related to those changes.
NSPIRE-V is HUD's new inspection standard for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and other HUD assisted programs. It replaces the previous Housing Quality Standard (HQS) inspection model.
Permanent Supportive Housing Programs will adopt NSPIRE-V Standards 10.1.2026.
Housing Choice Voucher Programs will begin using NSPIRE-V Standards on 2.1.2027.
