For more than 91 years, Columbia Housing has stood as a cornerstone of opportunity and progress for families across our community. Since our founding in 1934, we have helped thousands of residents build stability, pursue education, establish careers, and contribute meaningfully to Columbia's growth. Our mission has always extended beyond providing housing, it's about creating pathways to success and celebrating the people who embody what's possible when opportunity meets determination.
In 1988, we launched the Columbia Housing Wall of Fame to honor former residents who have gone on to make a lasting, positive impact in their communities. Over the years, honorees have included educators, entertainers, entrepreneurs, civic leaders, and public servants - all of whom began their journey within Columbia Housing. The Wall of Fame reminds us that subsidized housing is not an endpoint, but a foundation from which individuals and families can rise and thrive.
After a several year hiatus, the relaunched and reimagined 2026 Wall of Fame Celebration will continue that proud tradition. The event will spotlight new inductees and recognize the power of affordable housing to change lives. It also serves as an opportunity for community partners like you to invest in the next generation of success stories.
